Door Latch is parts which open/shut a door and keep the closed state by fitting
of a latch and a striker.
Its functions as follows:
- keep the closed
state when the door was shut
- release the closed state with an outside
or an inside handle
- lock and unlock by a key or an interior lock knob

Base Latch
- This enables doors to close, open, unlock and lock
as standard specifications
- structure that can lock doors only with
a key: a driver's seat (unable to lock the door with the key remained inside the
car)
- protect children on rear doors
(children protecting function:
structure that the rear doors cannot be opened inside cars for the purpose of
preventing the doors from opening by children's mischief)

(Base Latch + Actuator + Central Locking Switch)- Central
locking : capable of locking, unlocking all the doors by a remote control or a
key from outside or a switch from a driver's seat using a motor.
